Privacy policy

Nimbus VPN is published by SXB AM, a company based in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). Questions: contact@nimbus.it.com.
A VPN sees your connection pass through it. This page explains, in plain language, what we know about you and what we don't.
What we never record
- The sites and apps you use, or the content of your traffic.
- Your DNS queries (the names of the sites you look up).
- Your real IP address, or the time of each of your connections.
- Your name, email address or payment details: subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple.
What the service needs to work
- Your device's public key. The app creates an encryption key pair on your iPhone. Only the public half is sent to us; the private key never leaves your device.
- An address inside the tunnel (like 10.8.0.x), assigned to your device.
- Your App Store subscription identifier and its expiration date, provided by Apple in signed form, to check that your subscription is active.
- When each device was last used, to enforce the limit of two devices per subscription.
While you're connected, our server necessarily knows your public IP address: it's where it sends your traffic back. It is kept in memory only and never written to disk.
Our providers
- Apple handles payment and subscriptions, under its own privacy policy.
- DigitalOcean hosts our servers, located in the United States (New York).
- Cloudflare (public resolver 1.1.1.1) turns site names into addresses. Lookups reach it from our server, not from your address.
We sell no data, run no ads and include no analytics tools, neither in the app nor on this site, which uses no cookies.
How long we keep this data
A device's data is deleted automatically when your subscription ends (48 hours after it expires) or if it is refunded. When a third device connects, the one that has gone unused the longest is removed.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access or delete your data by writing to contact@nimbus.it.com. To cancel your subscription: iPhone Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with its update date.
